Performativ secures Series A to expand AI wealth management platform

Performativ, a Danish wealth management technology company, has raised $14m in Series A financing to broaden its footprint in Europe and step up its push into the private banking and enterprise segments.

The funding round was led by Deutsche Börse Group.

New investors included Rabo Investments, part of Rabobank, and Jacob Dahl, a former senior partner at McKinsey & Company.

Existing investors FinTech Collective and EIFO, Denmark’s export and investment fund, also joined the round.

The company develops a software platform designed to replace the patchwork of legacy tools often used by wealth managers across front-, middle- and back-office functions.

Its system are designed to bring together portfolio management, trading, reporting, compliance, risk analysis, performance measurement and custody data integration in a single cloud-based platform.

Performativ also incorporates AI-driven tools to reduce manual operational work.

Founded in 2020, the company said it has built a presence among wealth and asset managers and private banks in Europe.

With the new funding, it plans to target larger institutions that require technology capable of handling more complex client data, higher volumes and more demanding regulatory and reporting needs.

The investment comes as wealth managers face mounting pressure to modernize outdated infrastructure while coping with growing demands for end-investor-level data and more scalable operating models.

Performativ is seeking to position its platform as a front-to-back operating system for firms looking to consolidate fragmented workflows and improve efficiency.

The company said the fresh capital will support product development and regional expansion, with a focus on serving private banks and larger financial institutions.

Performativ CEO Albert Geisler Fox said: “Over the past six years, we have established ourselves as the leading platform for small and mid-sized wealth managers across Europe by modernising legacy operations with AI-native workflows.

“With this investment, we will cement our position within the enterprise segment, bringing our technology to visionary private banks and ambitious large-scale wealth management providers.”

“Performativ secures Series A to expand AI wealth management platform ” was originally created and published by Private Banker International, a GlobalData owned brand.
