Hurricanes even up series with OT win over Canadiens in Game 2

And just like that, the Eastern Conference Final is all evened up.

Nikolaj Ehlers scored the game-winning goal just three and a half minutes into OT.

Eric Robinson opened the scoring on their first shot on net, tipping a William Carrier shot past Jakub Dobes, before Josh Anderson evened the score on the Canadiens’ first shot of the night.

Ehlers scored a highlight-reel goal to give the Hurricanes the lead in the second period, but with his second of the night, Anderson tied it up again to force overtime.

The series shifts to Montreal for Game 3, which goes Monday at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.
