Drake has finally delivered his long-awaited Iceman album on Friday, May 15, and it did not take long for fans to start digging through the lyrics for any hidden messages or direct disses.
Iceman is 18 tracks with features from Future, 21 Savage, and Molly Santana, but it’s Track 14 that caught the attention of sports fans. On “Make Them Remember,” Drake takes a shot at his former friend LeBron James, who Drake felt spurned by during his heated feud with Kendrick Lamar.
“I shouldn’t even be shocked to see you in that arena, because you always made your career off of switching teams up,” Drake rapped.

The line disses LeBron for jumping from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Miami Heat to the Los Angeles Lakers in search of a title, while also acknowledging LeBron’s presence at the Kendrick Lamar concert in Los Angeles.

“Please stop asking what’s going on with 23 and me,” Drake adds, “he’s not, it’s in my DNA.”
That’s another shot at LeBron and Kendrick, referencing the NBA star’s jersey number and Lamar’s hit song “DNA” from the Grammy-winning album DAMN, which includes the line, “I got loyalty, got royalty inside my DNA.”

If you were wondering whether LeBron was the only NBA player to get a mention on Iceman, of course, he wasn’t. Drake also referenced Stephen Curry, but it was a positive bar on the track “2 Hard 4 The Radio.”
“Back when they was asking about where Davidson was at,” Drake rapped, “now everybody got a blue 30 on they back,”
