Oklahoma bounced back from an early deficit in Game 1 to get a 9-3 win over North Carolina on Saturday. Kyle Branch’s two-run single broke a 3-3 tie, and Deiten LaChance hit a pair of home runs to power the Sooner offense to a win.

UNC responded with a 6-2 win on Sunday to force a deciding final game for the national championship. Star reliever Caden Glauber was lights out in the win, tossing five shutout innings with eight strikeouts to improve to 29-0 this season in games in which he has pitched.
Tar Heels shortstop Jake Schaffner tied the game with a two-RBI triple in the third inning, before he gave UNC a 3-2 lead on a wild pitch in the same inning. Owen Hull and Cooper Nicholson also hit home runs.
It will likely be two freshmen starters on the mound for this pivotal game. Oklahoma will rely on Nick Wesloski, who will make his third start of the postseason. He comes in 2-1 with a 3.63 ERA. He allowed three runs on four hits in 5 2/3 innings in his last start against No. 3 Georgia.
Jackson Rose will take the mound for North Carolina. He had a strong start in the semifinal game against West Virginia, allowing just two hits in 4 1/3 innings. On the season, he’s 5-0 with a 2.15 ERA.
