≡ 10 Mother-Daughter Red Carpet Duos That Took Hollywood By Storm 》 Her Beauty

Being a celebrity’s child is a complicated and messy reality. You get the stigma of being a nepo
baby and get barely any privacy. That said, when celebrity kids make a name for themselves in
Hollywood, we get the rare phenomenon of an A-list mother-and-daughter duo gracing the red
carpet. Here are our favorites!

1. Carrie Fisher and Billie Lourd

These two iconic beauties brought poise to the 2015 premiere of “Absolutely Fabulous,” and
Fisher brought a third guest of honor: her French bulldog Gary, who happens to have his own
Instagram account with 140,000 followers. Lourd said that Gary was actually her dog first, but
her mom stole him away because she fell hard for him.

2. Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson

At the 2026 Academy Awards, these blond bombshells stole the show. Hudson rocked a custom
mint Giorgio Armani Privé gown coated in 41 carats of green diamonds, bringing the price tag to
a whopping $35 million, while her ageless mother impressed in a silver and black Grayseful
Maria Lopez gown. Hawn told People, “As we grow older together, I can’t express the amount of
love, joy, laughter, and sadness we share.”

3. Demi Moore and Rumer Willis

Demi Moore and eldest daughter Rumer Willis hit the red carpet for the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscar’s
party, where Moore wore a formfitting, sequined black Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello
dress. Her daughter opted for a more airy tulle gown in soft beige with a plunging neckline,
designed by Matija Vuica.

4. Melanie Griffith and Dakota Johnson

Is there anything cuter than a duo that color coordinates? This actress duo popped up for the
2025 premiere of “Splitsville” with Johnson in a strapless metallic gown while her mother wore
an all-white pantsuit, creating a combined look that was cohesive and elegant. On her daughter
appearing in the salacious “Fifty Shades of Grey,” she told “Extra,” “I’m never going to see the
movie myself. … It will just be too awkward.”
