The Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel cheating scandal’s biggest victims are no doubt their spouses, Kevin Goldschmidt and Jen Vrabel.
The former NFL reporter and New England Patriots head coach were caught holding hands and hugging at an Arizona resort via photos that surfaced in a Page Six report last month, which drew accusations of an affair.
Not long after those photos were made public, more photos emerged showing the pair kissing at a New York bar six years prior. Those photos, along with statements made by Vrabel, officially confirmed the affair.
Since Russini’s and Vrabel’s affair came to light, their significant others have been quiet, and understandably so.
However, according to new rumors from The Daily Mail’s Russ Weakland and James Cohen, we now have an idea of what exactly Russini’s husband, Goldschmidt, is thinking.
A source tells The Daily Mail that the Shake Shack executive is “dealing with the embarrassment” of his wife’s affair being in the public spotlight.
The report also notes that Goldschmidt has “felt sidelined for a long time” and the scandal “might be what pushes things to a breaking point.”
But, the belief, according to the insider, is that Goldschmidt might want to work things out with Russini, who he has two children with.
“Her husband has felt sidelined for a long time, and this controversy might be what finally pushes things to a breaking point,” a source said.
“At the same time, he’s dealing with the embarrassment, still cares about her, and would want to find some way to fix things if he can. The emasculation has taken a toll though,” the source added.
Along with the issues with her career and husband, the source said Russini is “also dealing with the loss of Mike [Vrabel], who she genuinely loved.”

While it would appear her marriage has a chance to survive, Dianna Russini’s career as an NFL reporter is in really rough shape.
Because of her very public violation of journalistic ethics, she is almost certainly radioactive to every major media outlet.
“Career-wise, it’s hard to see how she gets back to where she was. There’s always going to be that question of trust, and the scandal isn’t something people will just forget,” the source pointed out to The Daily Mail.
Russini does have at least one job offer out there, though, and it comes from the host of the Stugotz & Company podcast, Jon “Stugotz” Weiner, who said he would always have a job for her if she wanted it.
“I did say if the Athletic fired her, I would hire her,” he said. “They didn’t fire her. She stepped down from The Athletic, and the offer holds forever.”
Mike Vrabel’s career and relationship

Meanwhile, Vrabel does not face the same situation because the affair really has no bearing on his NFL coaching career, other than the negative attention it draws to him that could overshadow the New England Patriots as a whole.
That said, once the football offseason ramps up and the regular season begins in September, this scandal will garner less and less attention until it mostly fades out completely.
However, if Russini does resurface at some point (she has been totally quiet since her resignation from The Athletic), the scandal will be back in the spotlight.
When it comes to Vrabel’s relationship with his wife Jen, it isn’t clear exactly how much this controversy has impacted their marriage.
The last thing to come out about the couple was their meeting for a dinner in Utah late last month, a story that came from Page Six.
Vrabel and his wife Jen were said to be “cordial and talkative” but “not overly flirty,” according to a source.
