I’ve been trying any skincare device I can get my hands on since the golden era of Youtube beauty gurus. The Clarisonic brush, the Foreo, gua shas, ice rollers… you name it. In 2026, LED light therapy is lauded as one of the best ways to reduce inflammation and acne. I had never tried it (outside of the occasional treat-myself facial), but after years of popularity—and my commitment to having the glowiest skin possible—I decided I wanted to give it a shot. I still wasn’t sure if it was worth my investment, but then a relatively affordable option started showing up all over my TikTok FYP: the Medicube Booster Pro.
Medicube burst onto the scene as Korean beauty trends began to rise in popularity in the U.S. New sunscreens, serums, and toners started to explode online, and it became apparent that K-beauty had a lot to offer skincare lovers. I first saw the Medicube Booster Pro in a video from one of my favorite beauty follows, @greeneggsandglam on TikTok. I was excited to see if this new device could do anything for my skin, considering I have tried so many without really getting attached to any of them. Read on for my full review after trying it for myself.
What is the Medicube Booster Pro?
Medicube has gone viral several times for their Zero Pore Toner Pads, which have 4.6 stars on Amazon with almost 19,000 reviews. They’re consistently launching buzzy products with the advanced science that Korean beauty brands are known for, and the Medicube Booster Pro is their first foray into skincare devices. It’s a 6-in-1 tool that offers LED therapy, sonic vibrations, and four distinct modes to aid in product absorption, skin rejuvenation, firming, and lifting.

The brand boasts that this tool is the key to glass skin. Their PDRN line has become a bestseller as it has proven to improve skin elasticity and hydration. If you’re wondering what PDRN is, you’re not alone. It stands for Polydeoxyribonucleotide, which is a regenerative, anti-inflammatory compound extracted from the DNA of salmon (crazy, I know). The Booster Pro is part of Medicube’s PDRN line-up.
The Medicube Booster Pro has four settings and includes a screen that provides changing levels and a timer:
- Air Shot: Refines and minimizes pores.
- Derma Shot: Helps with definition, stimulating your face muscles for more elasticity.
- MC (Microcurrent mode): Increases volume in areas prone to sagging, such as around the eyes and mouth.
- Booster: Helps your products absorb deeper into the skin, perfect for your everyday serums or face masks.
Medicube Booster Pro Review: My Experience
For context, I have dry, acne prone skin, and my current skincare routine is pretty simple. However, I paired the Booster Pro with the Medicube PDRN serum (that has also been dominating my FYP) to get the full K-beauty experience.
I used the Medicube Booster Pro for two weeks and found it to do everything it claims. I was mostly drawn to the Booster and Derma Shot modes. In the morning, when I’m at my most puffy, I could see the immediate difference in how awake I looked after using both. I worked my way up to the higher levels over time, but the sonic vibrations of each mode felt very distinct to the result it was providing. I felt my muscles twitching in the Microcurrent mode just like when I see a professional.
“Using the Booster Pro made me realize I didn’t have to fill my cabinet with new serums, I just needed my current ones to work a little harder for me.”
The Booster mode was my overall favorite because my face looked the most glowy after using it. The setting was definitely pushing my serums into my skin the longer I used it. Using the Booster Pro made me realize I didn’t have to fill my cabinet with new serums, I just needed my current ones to work a little harder for me. I am so happy to have a tool that feels like a one-stop shop for my skincare routine. While it takes 60+ days to form a habit, I’m confident that the Booster Pro will easily become a part of my daily routine.

Is the Medicube Booster Pro Worth It?
At $220, the Medicube Booster Pro is still an investment. However, if you’re skincare-obsessed or have been looking to get into light therapies at home, it’s generally more affordable than any of the red light masks or microcurrent devices on the market—and combines them into one easy device. Having all of those benefits in one product made it an easy yes for me. Luckily, if you’re just into the idea of the booster mode, Medicube also offers the Booster Pro Mini. It’s the same device with just Booster mode and for a lower price tag.
