The projected No. 1 pick in the PWHL’s 2026 draft has earned tournament MVP at Milano Cortina 2026.
Team USA defenceman Caroline Harvey was the most valuable player in the tournament with two goals and seven assists across seven games. She tied teammate and golden-goal scorer Megan Keller for the tournament scoring lead.
This gold marks the second Olympic medal the 23-year-old Harvey after she took home silver in her 2022 Olympic debut.
In Thursday’s final, Harvey played a total of 23:53 minutes over three regulation periods and one overtime frame, the second most of any American in the game.
Harvey was also voted the tournament’s Best Defender and named to the Media All-Star team. Marie-Philip Poulin was also named to the all-star team and received honours as the tournament’s Best Forward. Switzerland’s Andrea Brandli was awarded Best Goaltender.
