The couple made a surprise joint appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” Thursday night.
The actress, 52, wasn’t expecting to join her partner as she watched his interview from backstage — but Gosling, 45, organized a surprise for her birthday.
The notoriously private pair last stepped out together at SXSW in 2015.
Prior to that, they walked the red carpet for the movie that set their love story in motion, “The Place Beyond the Pines.”
