Paulina Porizkova says Estée Lauder’s new foundation gives her ‘hope’ for mature skin

Supermodel Paulina Porizkova has grown a massive following with her brutally honest takes on aging, beauty and love. So when the 60-year-old recently road-tested the newly reformulated Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation, we were all ears.
“I’m kind of excited about this because … the beloved old standby formula was too dry, too matte for my older skin, so it’s not actually something that I could wear,” the brand ambassador shared in an Instagram post.
The new formula is more hydrating, breathable and long-wearing — plus, it’s available in additional shades.
“This one gives me hope that maybe it can be worn by us more seasoned women, mature ladies,” Porizkova quipped before trying it out.
She applied her go-to everyday Estée Lauder Futurist Skin Tint Serum — a tinted cream she said is “great for older, dry skin” — on one side of her face and the new Double Wear Foundation on the other side, so that she could compare the two formulas.
The model specifically applied the latter to the side she said has more blemishes, since it offers extra coverage.
She then checked in seven hours later, as the brand claims Double Wear can last all day (and night) — up to a whopping 36 hours.
“It hasn’t settled into my lines and wrinkles,” Porizkova concluded. (While both sides of her face still looked fresh, she wrote in her caption that the Double Wear part was “more even and luminous.”)
Saying she was “really impressed” with the results, she ended the post declaring, “This 60-year-old can finally wear Double Wear!”
Shoppers also give it high marks, with one on Amazon customer writing, “New formula is great. Does what it promises. It is much thinner and a bit tacky, but then it goes away when it settles down. It does give you a blur effect when it settles/dries down, and it definitely closes your pores and plumps your skin.”
The reformulation has even gone viral, with people of all ages singing its praises on TikTok.
