Candace Cameron Bure revealed that thinking about God watching her have sex makes her uncomfortable.

The “Full House” alum, 49, shared the surprising tidbit while discussing purity with “Bachelor” alum Madi Prewett.

“See, I still a little but get a visual of, like, God watching me having sex weirds me out, OK?” she said with a laugh on the March 3 episode of her eponymous podcast.

Candace, who’s been married to her husband, Valeri Bure, since 1996 and shares three children with him, noted that how she grew up has to do with it.

“It totally just depends on your upbringing and what your past experiences have been or the things that you were taught as a kid, all of those,” she said. “Again, I’m almost 50 and some of those adolescent thoughts never quite leave your mind or those high school teenage thoughts never quite leave your mind.”

“I’m giggling at it now because I, whatever, don’t want to think about God watching me have sex,” she continued. “But I’m very comfortable in that sense.”

“I have three kids that are in their 20s. So, I’ve done a lot of parenting and had a lot of conversations in this area over the years,” she explained.

Candace said she doesn’t shy away from the topic of sex with her children — Natasha, 27, Lev, 25, and Maksim, 24, 

The actress, who is vocal about her faith as a Christian, had Prewett — who’s also vocal about her faith — on her podcast back in January. During the episode, Candace got candid about having “really low lows” in her marriage to Valeri ahead of their 30th wedding anniversary.

“I know that during some of those low times — I wouldn’t even say it’s low —you’re just kind of, like, sitting in the shallow of the valley,” she shared.

“Where you’re like, ‘This isn’t the best, but that’s just life. We’ll just kind of go through it.’”

“[There have been] lots of highs and there’s been some really low lows,” she acknowledged.

Back in November 2025, she also reflected on experiencing marriage struggles.

“There were times of deep brokenness that I felt,” she told Us Weekly, noting, however, that she and Valeri were able to build themselves “back up.”

“But God is in the restoration business … [God] loves to restore and make all things new, and he certainly has,” she said.
