Caitlin Clark, Lexie Hull announce major Indiana Fever WNBA Free Agency news


The WNBA free agency news mill is creating lots of drama heading into the 2026 season, but the Indiana Fever are getting two major stars back before tip off.

Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull are two of the biggest names in the league after coming to Indiana in the last several years. However, their expiring contracts with the Fever have been major talking points before the new campaign.

Hull shared a TikTok sparking lots of excitement within the Fever fanbase. Both Clark and Hull revealed that they are staying with the Fever for the upcoming season, which gives Indiana a major boost against the best teams in the WNBA.

The Fever superstars were spotted by fans lip syncing to Diamond Dondada’s hit song “She’s Back” in the viral video. 

WNBA free agency and the offseason are presenting many changes for teams across the league. That includes Angel Reese’s shocking move to the Atlanta Dream.

However, it seems as though Indiana is set on keeping its roster intact with Clark and Hull leading the way. Both players figure to be major pieces for the 2026 season after the league’s new CBA comes into effect.

Fever retain two major stars before 2026 WNBA season

Clark and other top WNBA stars are receiving major pay bumps based on the WNBA’s increased viewership and popularity. The former Iowa Hawkeyes star is one of several elite players to earn over half a million dollars annually.

In the case of Clark, the Indiana guard finished her rookie contract with the franchise before agreeing to new terms. Meanwhile, was set to become a free agent after being drafted by the Fever back in the 2022 draft.

ESPN reporter Alexa Philippou revealed Saturday that Hull is signing a multi-year contract to keep her with the Fever.

Meanwhile, the franchise is extremely busy recently with new deals for top players. Kelsey Mitchell recently became the first Fever player to receive a supermax deal with Indiana and will earn over a million dollars annually.
