US-based real estate company Widewaters has chosen Schulte Hospitality Group (SHG) to manage its hotel collection.
This decision signifies a new phase of strategic expansion for the portfolio, emphasising a focused investment in enhancing guest experience, improving commercial performance, and achieving operational excellence.
Under the arrangement, SHG will oversee daily hotel operations, sales and marketing strategy, revenue management, and food and beverage programming across the hotel portfolio.
This transition aims to support each property’s market positioning and guest satisfaction while strengthening long-term asset value.
Basin Ventures will retain responsibility for the portfolio’s asset management oversight.
Widewaters’ senior vice-president Bill Holstein said: “The Widewaters portfolio represents a strong group of well-located hotels in attractive markets, and we’re excited to enter this next phase of growth.
“Schulte’s depth of operational expertise, brand relationships, and performance-driven approach make them the right partner to elevate the Widewaters portfolio and deliver an enhanced experience for our guests.”
SHG’s chief operating officer Sam Grabush said: “We are thrilled to partner with Widewaters on this high-quality portfolio. We look forward to deploying Schulte’s integrated marketing, commercial, and operational capabilities — including our expertise in spa, wellness, and golf operations — across these properties.
“By aligning revenue strategy, sales activation, on-property execution, and experience-driven amenities, we are confident we can unlock meaningful performance gains while delivering a differentiated and memorable guest experience in each market.”
SHG manages more than 250 hotels and hospitality ventures worldwide. The company operates properties across brands such as Hilton, Marriott, IHG, and Hyatt.
Widewaters’ portfolio includes seven hotels, including the Cherry Valley Hotel in Newark, Ohio; Woodcliff Hotel & Spa in Fairport, New York; and Hilton Garden Inn Rochester/Pittsford in Pittsford, New York.
“Widewaters appoints SHG to manage seven-hotel portfolio” was originally created and published by Hotel Management Network, a GlobalData owned brand.
