Kelly Osbourne issues scathing statement to body-shaming trolls following BRIT Awards appearance

Kelly Osbourne hit back at body-shaming trolls as she goes through the “hardest time” in her life following her dad Ozzy Osbourne’s death.

“There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories after appearing at the 2026 BRIT Awards with mom Sharon Osbourne.

“Kicking me while I’m down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most,” the former reality star added.

“None of it proves strength; it only reveals a profound absence of compassion and character.”

Kelly, 41, said she is “currently going through the hardest time in [her] life” and “should not even have to defend [herself].”

“But I won’t sit here and allow myself to be dehumanized in such a way!” she concluded.

The former “Fashion Police” host’s statement came hours after she shocked fans with her thin appearance at the BRITs Saturday.

Kelly wore a figure-hugging, black, floor-length gown as she posed alongside the former “America’s Got Talent” judge, 73, on the red carpet.

Less than a week prior to her BRIT Awards appearance, Kelly slammed critics for attacking her thinner appearance.

“Literally can’t believe how disgusting some human beings truly are!” she wrote on her Instagram Stories Feb. 23 alongside a screenshot of a negative comment from an online hater.

“No one deserves this sort of abuse!” Kelly added.

Last December, Kelly revealed that the dramatic weight loss was due to her grieving the death of her father, Ozzy, who died from a heart attack in July 2025 at age 76.

“To the people who keep thinking they’re being funny and mean by writing comments like, ‘Are you ill, or ‘Get off Ozempic,’ or ‘You don’t look right,’” she said at the time.

“My dad just died, and I’m doing the best that I can, and the only thing I have to live for right now is my family. And I choose to share my content with you and share the happy side of my life, not the miserable side of my life,” Kelly added.

“So to all those people, f–k off,” she added.

Sharon also defended her daughter’s weight loss, saying Kelly “can’t eat right now” due to grieving the loss of her dad.

“How many times have we been wrong about somebody because of our perception?” the former “X Factor” host said.

“But you and I don’t take the point where we’d spend a second — wasting a second of our lives in writing something about them,” she added.

“Going on their site, taking their time, writing. That’s a lot of effort goes into that.”
