Chelsea Handler urges men to get vasectomies in racy PSA

Chelsea, lately, has been making a statement.

Chelsea Handler took to Instagram to share a video of herself sitting in bed, topless, giving herself a mammogram, stating, “as a woman with natural breasts, not that that has anything to do with this, it is time to explore vasectomies.”

The comedian added in the Friday footage, “Since the beginning of time, women have been ducking and diving and dodging pregnancy face-first or Pikachu-first. Frankly, they’re exhausted.”

For Handler and many other women, they’ve become tired of hearing men complain that “using a condom doesn’t feel so good” or asking their partners to “take birth control.”

“Enough, you horny little pigs in blankets,” the author said into the camera, before inquiring: “Do you know how painful it is to get an IUD placed? It feels like a mouse trap in your uterus, and sometimes those things don’t even catch all the mice.”

An Intrauterine Device (IUD) is a form of birth control that is inserted into a woman’s uterus, per the Cleveland Clinic.

An IUD can prevent pregnancy for up to 10 years and can be removed by a doctor if a woman decides to become pregnant.

Handler also touched on different forms of female birth control, including the pill.

“You think I want to be an adult woman with acne or have mood swings, or get a period that’s so heavy it feels like the Hoover Dam just broke? I don’t,” the talk show host continued. “Everybody already hates women enough. I don’t need my insides to join in on the fun.”

According to Handler, it’s time for men to take action, including undergoing vasectomies.

A vasectomy “is a type of birth control that prevents the penis from releasing sperm in fluid called semen during sex,” per the Mayo Clinic

The operation includes having a surgeon cut and seal the tubes that carry sperm.

Followers quickly jumped into the comments section to praise Handler, posing for an Instagram photo above, for her candidness. Instagram

“Women are tired of making concessions for men, especially in the bedroom. We have already been through enough letting you wear socks while you penetrate us,” she exclaimed. “So man up, men, and if you can’t do that, enjoy the company of your hands. Vasectomies, one snip and that’s it.”

Handler’s followers quickly chimed in beneath the video, with Ashley Benson writing, “This is everything.”

Another social media user shared, “I love you!! Never stop!!!,” while a third fan added, “THIS IS THE WAY.”

One male follower weighed in with his own experience, telling Handler, “I got one 10 years ago and it was one of the best decisions of my life. I was uncomfortable for a couple of days, but that’s about it.”

The informative Instagram reel comes on the heels of Handler developing a comedy for Hulu, “Townhouse,” about a “washed-up” reality star with a failed relationship with her daughter.

According to Variety, the Critics Choice Awards host will executive produce the show and possibly star in it.

The studio, 20th Television, described the upcoming project as being about, “a washed-up reality star and her live-in entourage of misfits as they scramble to rehab her image and reboot her career.”

Page Six heard whispers that the show was written by Zoe Young, a former intern of “Real Housewives of New York City” star Sonja Morgan.

The USC graduate worked for the TV personality in her final season on the Bravo show, which aired in 2021.

But according to sources, that isn’t exactly the case.

“Sonja’s hardly washed up,” an insider fired back, “and she certainly isn’t estranged from her daughter. She and Quincy have a great relationship.”
