Look no further than the hallmark of dysfunction in the NFL franchise Cleveland Browns. Not only did they manage let go of their best head coach in 27 years, but they are losing an entire offensive line.
The Browns’ offensive line was once considered among the best in the NFL from 2020 to 2025. 2025 was a bit of a rough patch for the unit, but they also lacked stability at quarterback.
Quite honestly, you could argue it was the strongest part of their offense in 2025. Now they will all be headed for free agency, with some shutting the door on a reunion completely.
They forced head coach Kevin Stefanski to take on a bad fit at quarterback via trade. In the process, they traded three first-round picks for Deshaun Watson, who was being sued for sexual misconduct.

The Browns then traded away their best quarterback in 20+ years, who is now playing like one of the league’s best. You’d think they’d fire the guys who made that decision, right?

The Browns have a new head coach, but the front office that unwound their progress still remains. After a step back from their 2020 playoff run, general manager Andrew Berry and owner Jimmy Haslam messed it all up.
Even their star pass rusher, Myles Garrett, was ready to leave — until he was given a huge contract. Now it appears he is stuck.
The fact that the Browns are letting go of their entire offensive line is an indictment of the organization’s dysfunction. Browns fans yearn for a competitive team. It will be a long year in Cleveland once again.
