Danny Green and the Los Angeles Lakers’ 2020 NBA championship continues to be one the most debated in league history. They won the title during the COVID-19 season inside The Bubble in Orlando.
He and the team’s fans have been vocal in claiming that it was tougher to win. However, some argue that the lack of travel involved made winning easier. Green shared his thoughts about it on Sunday, highlighting that it was “by far” the hardest title he won.

“It was by far the hardest championship that I had to achieve,” Green said. “That was an iconic, legendary team. I think we would have won regardless if it was the bubble or not.”
Fans dropped mixed reactions in the comments section.
“I PROMISE you, you weren’t winning if it wasn’t the bubble,” one fan wrote.
“And people still have the nerve to call it a mickey mouse ring…” a comment read.
“People forget that Lakers title run had the Kobe pressure, the bubble isolation, no home crowds, and LeBron at 35 playing every game like a must win,” a user said.
“Lies…they took 3 months off to let LBJ and AD get healthy. Without the bubble, neither would have been healthy for the playoffs and they would have been bounced in the first round,” posted another.
“Literally had a 4 month break to get healthy but go on brah,” one fan commented.
“Yeah ok no travel for him James paid him to say it,” a comment read.
