Caitlin Clark delivered a strong performance during the WNBA regular-season game against the Atlanta Dream on Thursday. However, the Indiana Fever superstar didn’t feel well during halftime and puked.
The two-time All-Star was asked about what caused it and she admitted that she threw up a lot. She added that she felt fine and light after. Clark was able to play her usual minutes in the second half and showed no signs of discomfort.

“I tried to eat some apple sauce and then it just came up, and then everything else also in my stomach came up,” Clark said. “I found a trash can, thank God.”
Clark finished with 17 points, seven rebounds and eight assists. Kelsey Mitchell recorded a game-high 25 points, while Aliyah Boston contributed 19 points and seven rebounds. Indiana snapped a two-game losing streak and is now 5-4 for the season.

Caitlin Clark and Fever get season back on track
The Fever were 4-4 entering Thursday’s matchup. They lost back-to-back games to the Golden State Valkyries and Portland Fire, and were looking to right the ship.
The players answered with an inspired performance in the first game of the Commissioner’s Cup. The 83-71 win was just what Indiana needed before they embark on a two-game road trip. Expectations were high on them in the offseason with their bolstered roster and Clark’s return from injury. However, they started the season slow which sounded some alarm bells.
The Fever are now back to above .500 and could start to string some wins together. It remains to be seen how they’ll perform in their upcoming matchups, but the victory over Angel Reese and Co. is a huge morale booster.
