That awkward moment when you don’t know where to put your Oscar.

Michael B. Jordan still hasn’t figured out the perfect spot to put his first Oscar, over a month after winning Best Actor at the 2026 Academy Awards for his performance in Sinners.

“Right now, it’s in my closet,” he exclusively told E! News’ Erin Lim Rhodes at the premiere of his new film Swapped at the Netflix Tudum Theater in Los Angeles April 26. “It’s in my closet right now.” 

Michael added that he’s tested out a few different locations for his trophy, but none of them have felt exactly right yet.

“It’s one of those things that…I don’t know,” he explained. “You don’t really know where to put it, you know? So it’s kind of moved around to a bunch of different places.”

Plus, one of the reasons he hasn’t landed on a permanent home for his first Oscar statue is that his attention has already shifted to his next project.
