Megan Thee Stallion breaks down in tears during ‘Moulin Rouge’ performance after Klay Thompson split
Megan Thee Stallion became overwhelmed with tears after she revealed she and Klay Thompson broke up due to alleged infidelity.
According to a video shared online, the “Savage” rapper wiped away tears as fans gave her a standing ovation when she closed out Saturday night’s performance as Zidler in “Moulin Rouge! The Musical.”
As a fan screamed, “We love you!” the Grammy winner — born Megan Pete — turned away from the audience, trying to hold back tears.
The video prompted an outpouring of support for Megan.
“It’s the way you show up even while carrying so much—that’s what makes you THAT girl. You always have a little sister riding for you at dawn. I love you, sister,” wrote WNBA star Angel Reese.
“Just a girl carrying the weight of the world. We love you Meg even on your darkest of days, don’t you ever forget it!” added rapper Monaleo.
Megan’s Broadway show came hours after she publicly blasted Thompson for allegedly cheating on her.
“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet,’” she wrote on her Instagram Stories Saturday.
“Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season. Now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’????” Megan, 31, added.
“Bitch I need a REAL break after this one.. bye y’all.”
In a statement to Page Six, the “Hot Girl Summer” emcee said she “made the decision to end [her] relationship with Klay.”
She added: “Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”
Thompson, 36, has not publicly responded to the allegations.
Last July, TMZ reported that Megan and Thompson were dating after several eagle-eyed fans spotted the Dallas Mavericks player in the back of one of her photos.
That same month, the couple made their red carpet debut at Megan’s inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in NYC.
In an exclusive interview with Page Six, the “WAP” emcee gushed over her new beau, saying she had “never dated somebody so kind.”
“This is my first relationship where I’ve ever been with somebody who’s genuinely a nice person, and he makes me genuinely happy,” she told us.
“I just never dated somebody like him before and I’m just grateful that he’s here by my side and he feels the same way about me.”
In October 2025, the four-time NBA champion and Megan made a major move in their relationship by purchasing a home together.
