Dubbed “Kylie’s Secret Night,” this 2019 TV special was released for Christmas and was the perfect combination of festive and fabulous. The audience initially believed the event would be a fan gathering centered around Kylie, but they were surprised to find otherwise! They would be spending an evening with the pop star herself, who would have heartfelt chats, stunts, and memorable performances.
She’s launched Kylie Minogue Wines
It’s not unusual for celebrities to get into the booze game, and Kylie decided to join the party when she partnered with London-based distributor Benchmark Drinks to create her own wine line, selling over a million bottles in under a year. Bestsellers in the collection include a refreshing Sauvignon Blanc, a more full-bodied Merlot, and an Organic Brut Reserva Cava that’s described as “dry and crisp.”
The Tension Tour
Kylie released the album Tension (her sixteenth) in 2023, and it earned her a Grammy for the track “Padam Padam.” Her follow-up album was released the following year in 2024 and received strong praise from both critics and fans, so much so that she’s embarking on the Tension Tour across Mexico, South America, and other locations. On tour, she’s still breaking records, becoming the first female solo artist to perform 21 times at The O₂ Arena. This proves that even though Kylie is in her 50s, she’s still connecting with new generations and is as relevant as ever.
Honored with a BRITs Global Icon Award
Kylie received a BRIT Global Icon Award at the 2024 BRIT Awards ceremony. She performed some of her most popular hits, and the award was presented by Dua Lipa, who called Kylie the “eternal queen of pop.” This award is the highest accolade from the BRIT Awards, and previous winners include Elton John and David Bowie.
