Shouting is banned
William and Kate’s major rule around the house is no yelling. This rule pre-dates Kate’s diagnosis and is the couple’s secret to communication without chaos. Keep calm and carry on, indeed!
Not only are the kids not permitted to yell at each other, but the parents follow the same rule. Neither Catherine, Princess of Wales and William, Prince of Wales raise their voice at their children. A source who spoke to Fabulous in 2020 said that the misbehaving child would be removed from the argument or disruption and “talked to calmly” by one of their parents. Once they’ve simmered down, the parent explains the situation and defines the consequences that will result from these actions. The insider added that of Kate and William, Kate is the stricter one.
The family nanny, Maria Borrallo, also plays a major role in raising the children, enforcing discipline, and keeping the children in line. The source mentioned that while the Wales couple isn’t afraid to be stern and lay down the law, they somehow have the “magic ability to appear not to be.”

Although they approach things with a military attitude, onlookers wouldn’t imagine this is the case, as the parents work very hard to raise their kids properly and make them feel “relaxed and happy.” It appears that they have mastered the art of listening to their kids but maintaining a firm hand and being voices of authority. It’s clear that in their family, listening to orders is important and has repercussions. It looks like George, Charlotte, and Louis won’t turn into the next wayward Prince Harry anytime soon.
