What’s the deal with those flower sprinkles and $150,000+ outfits?
While there were several memorable moments on her show (anyone remember that awkward time she corrected Mindy Kaling?), Meghan consistently got roasted for ‘flower sprinkles’, aka dried flower petals. She revealed that she likes to put flower sprinkles on everything to make boring days a little more charming and romantic. If you got through the entire series, you’ll know that she has an expensive flower sprinkle obsession. When she spoke at the Time 100 Summit in New York City on April 24th, she started talking about the flower sprinkles again, saying, “It speaks to the tiny moments of joy that are so effortless and just create a little bit of magic that we’re all craving in our everyday.”
For many of the people in the world who are struggling right now, we’re unsure that flower sprinkles will do the trick. Meghan revealed that she began to put dried flower petals on absolutely everything she consumed, beautifying her salads and yogurt parfaits. But it doesn’t stop there. She even puts them on her scrambled eggs.
Of course, Meghan sells her own line of flower sprinkles on the As Ever website, which will cost a jaw-dropping $15 for a minuscule 0.18-ounce tin. If you plan to sprinkle them on everything like Meghan does, you’d better start saving up now, because this looks like an expensive habit. For something that brings zero flavor to your food, this is a splurge we’re not sure we’re willing to make.

After confessing to her flower sprinkle addiction, social media users had fun bringing their own commentary into the mix. One X user tweeted, “Shortbread cookies + flower sprinkles + high price = Meghan Markle’s as ever.” Another said, “I wish I was as out of touch with reality as she was.”
Meghan Markle’s expensive outfits, which she wore on the show, didn’t help her reputation either. In total, her looks cost a shocking $172,000.
