Although some of us have events in our childhood that we don’t like to talk about, you shouldn’t be embarrassed about it. If you had a tough upbringing, you should trust him enough to discuss it.

8. Goals
Hopefully, one day, your goals will merge, so sharing this is important. You can’t pretend you want to become a mom if you hate children and vice versa. One day, the lies will come to an end and end the relationship regardless.

9. Health issues
He deserves to know about a chronic health issue, especially if he might need to help you in a potentially dangerous situation due to said issue. Additionally, if you have an STD, you absolutely need to share it with him because you may spread it.

10. Finances
Let your BF know if you can’t afford to go out every weekend! If saving money is a priority to you or you’re on a budget, he might agree to stay in rather than constantly go out to restaurants and bars.

11. Relationship status
Although some people aren’t into labels, it’s important to define the relationship on your own terms and, most importantly, to determine whether you’re in a monogamous or polyamorous relationship. Open relationships are only okay if both people know about it.

12. Hobbies
Whether writing, crafts, or art, you should be proud of your recreational hobbies and talents instead of keeping them a secret.
