When you’re in a relationship with someone, honesty is the best policy. You shouldn’t feel the need to lie to a partner and instead should be as open as possible with them. If you remain honest and transparent, the relationship is more likely to last and go the distance. Here are things you should never lie to your boyfriend about. 

1. Your friends

Your boyfriend should be okay with knowing who you hang out with for both safety reasons and transparency. If they don’t want you hanging out with someone, there may be a good reason.

2. Where you’re going 

Lies about who you’re hanging out with are just as bad as lies about where you are. And again, safety!

3. Your job 

It doesn’t matter if you work at a fast food restaurant, and he shouldn’t judge you if you do. Tell him the truth about what your job is and how much you make. 

4. Loving him 

If you have ulterior motives for being with someone, that’s not cool. Also, you should never lie about loving someone just because you’re scared of hurting their feelings.

5. Being OK

Don’t say that you’re fine when you’re not. If he did something to make you upset, it’s better to be straightforward and honest about that fact.

6. Age

Being an older woman doesn’t make you less attractive, but lying does! He shouldn’t care about your age, and if he does, he’s not a good partner for the long term.
