The Toronto Tempo continue to adjust their roster around the margins.
The team released Mariella Fasoula from her developmental contract on Sunday, according to an announcement from the Tempo.
Fasoula, 28, appeared in only three games for Toronto, averaging 5 minutes, 1.3 points, 1 rebound and 0.7 blocks.
The Tempo now have two development contract spots open after recently converting Nikolina Milić from to a hardship exemption deal.
Players on developmental contracts are only eligible to play 12 games per season.
Nyara Sabally (neck), Temi Fagbenle (right shoulder), Julie Allemand (left hip) and Isabelle Harrison (right hand) are all currently out due to injury.
The Tempo will look to end a two-game losing streak on the road against the Chicago Sky on Wednesday.
