Muskies make quick work of I-29 rival Stampede 5-0 for first shutout of the season

SIOUX CITY, IOWA (KCAU) – The Sioux City Musketeers left nothing to chance against its I-29 rival Sioux Falls, as the Muskies rattle of 3 first-period goals in 5 minutes towards the 5-0 rout over the Stampede for their first shutout of the season.

Finn Loftus, Kaden Shahan, Ethan Gardula contributed the first period scores while Hagen Burrows and Collin Kessler lit the lamp in the second period to put the game on ice. Goaltender Samuel Urban was a stone wall between the pipes, racking 21 saves to complete his first career shutout.

Sioux City visits Lincoln on April 12th, before returning home to host the Stars for their regular season finale.
