Video shows spectators there leaping out of the way of cars spinning at high rates speed, as smoke from fireworks and the burnouts created further chaos.

The woman who was hit was not seen on video, but clips continue to circulate of the takeover, which was the third of at least seven so-called sideshows – a term being used by cops to categorize the increasingly common occurrences.

The first surfaced around 11pm in Menlo Park, a community just north of Mountain View. There, dozens – if not hundreds – of spectators were reported, seen watching the vehicles as they did donuts close by.

The intersection, as was the case with the bridge, remained clogged for nearly 20 minutes, cops said.

Next came the Stanford area, where a sideshow roughly 15 minutes later closed off another crossway for another 15 minutes – this time at the corner of Coyote Hill and Page Mill roads.

The previously mentioned one at Mountain View was next. Video from that procession – where cops confirmed the woman suffered a broken ankle – is currently going viral.

Then, more than two hours later, another two sideshows surfaced a few miles up the coast in Oakland, where officials recently passed an ordinance to toughen legal steps it can take against those involved in the street-stopping events.

The first happened on 42nd and International Boulevard around 2 am, featuring tons of fireworks and more donuts

Another sprang up near Alma and Excelsior, also in Oakland, an hour later, as leaders in the Bay area city, as well as neighboring Antioch and Hercules, have been speaking and spreading the word, especially as early spring weather sits in.

At about 3:15am, the group on the bridge, was spotted, a week after the Oakland Police Department responded to a hit and run following another side show.

In that case, officers responded to a collision in the 400 block of Burma Road around 8:30pm on March 30, and learned that a litany of vehicles participating in a sideshow were responsible.

They found that a car that was participating in the sideshow had collided with another vehicle causing it to overturn, before fleeing the scene in another car.

That incident, as well of the seven others over the weekend, are currently being investigated. It’s unclear if the they were made up of the same crowd, or if different groups showed up to each site.

DailyMail.com has reached out to the city’s police departments along with the California Highway Patrol, as sideshows continue to be a mainstay in liberal-led Oakland.

Headlines indicating as such include ‘Video shows illegal Oakland sideshow with cars on fire’ and ‘Oakland sideshows draw 500 vehicles.’

One incident last summer saw 80 vehicles seized by the police. At another, an 18-wheeler was seen performing donuts in a widely trafficked road.

The demonstrations,  all illegal, have spurred plan to put in place more barriers in intersections deemed to be hotspots, including the Bay Bridge.

As if writing, it remains unclear if any arrests were made. Cops in Mountain View said they were investigating the incident that saw the woman injured.
